Med-View a Nigerian airline has started flights to Monrovia and Freetown, capitals of Liberia and Sierra Leone, respectively. Med-View undertook its inaugural flight last week. with fun fare transporting some important personalities including the airline’s managing director, Muneer Bankole. The flight went to Accra ,Ghana, en-route to Monrovia, Liberia and subsequently, Freetown, the Sierra Loenian capital.
Liberian President,Ellen Sirleaf is reported to have hailed the development as a positive step towards greater ties among peoples of the West Africa.
Bankole said the airline took the initiative in order to help to facilitate closer business relations among the various peoples and countries of West Africa.
The airline would fly this route three times a week,from its base in Lagos.
