Women In Management, Business and Public Service, WIMBIZ , has sent a congratulatory letter to Seun Abimbola Oni, on her recent appointment as the Group Managing Director/CEO of A.G Leventis (Nigeria) Ltd.
WIMBIZ, a highly influential women’s professional group, describes Oni as a senior business and finance executive, with over 25 years’ professional experience, spanning assurance ,business advisory and leading financial strategies and processes in multinational organisations.
Oni’s appointment is effective from September 2, 2020,when she takes over from Michael E. Economakis, who the company says, has “ successfully transformed the company, developing a strong leadership team and securing the foundation for a growth trajectory of the company in the near future under the new leadership.”
Prior to her appointment as A G Leventis Nigeria chief executive, Oni was Executive Finance Director at Reckitt Benckiser West Africa.
Prior to that, she was Chief Financial Officer, Nigeria Bottling Company, subsidiary of Coca-Cola Hellenic Beverage Company (CCHBC). She has also served as Country Finance Director, Coca-Cola Nigeria Ltd (CCNL), subsidiary of The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC).
Oni started her professional career at business consultancy firm, PriceWaterhouse Coopers, PWC, after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Lagos. She is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, ICAN.
