Vodacom Group has appointed Valentine Chime as the new managing director for its Nigerian business. The company announced Chime\u2019s appointment Monday, July 6,2020 in a statement signed by Onyinye Ago,its senior account executive.
Chime joins Vodacom Business Africa, Nigeria from Aruwa Capital, a private equity company investing across West Africa. Earlier, he had held various C-suite positions in a number of portfolio companies in different sectors.
The Vodacom statement stated that Chime is expected to drive the company\u2019s vision of becoming Africa\u2019s leading cloud and digital service provider.
